Together
18 x 24 inches, acrylics on cradled wooden board
Part of the series " Textures".
There were some things I found fascinating when I moved from New York to Phoenix. One of them was the beauty of the desert and the relationship between the plants and all leaving creatures in the harsh habitat. Walking in the desert you can often see saguaro cactus next to a palo verde tree. The reason is simple- without the shade and water of the palo verde the small saguaro can't survive. It's the symbiotic relationship between the two I wanted to depict.
